Malcolm West - 4th XI Captain

Having spent his formative years playing the public school girls’ sport hockey Malcolm made a late transition to league cricket, joining the Nondies in 2003. Steady progress up the batting order resulted in Malc becoming  4^th team run machine in 2005 with several important contributions with the bat.

Taking a leaf out of the former first team skippers book Malc realised that the only way to ensure a regular bowl was to move into captaincy; look out for significantly more overs of his loopy medium pace in 2006!

Nondies are pleased that Westy has taken on the mantle of 4^th team skipper blending the up and coming talent of the club with the wily ways of the senior pro’s. Malcolm’s relaxed manner and positive outlook should ensure an enjoyable season for everyone that represents the 4^th team.
