Junior Section
Hi and welcome to your Youth section.
If you are one of our returning players from last season then its great to see you back.
If you are new to the club then we are just the place to help you develop your cricketing ambition. We are a forward thinking club with the full range of juniors teams taking boys and girls from 6 years and playing in Kwik cricket tournaments as well as U11, U13 and U15 competitions. We have excellent facilities at our Bletchingdon ground and our ECB qualified coaches and assistants are experienced cricketers who are friendly and keen to help you progress. Looking ahead we also have a good track record of involving our juniors from U13 and U15 in our mens teams just to give you something to aim for.

This season kicks off with Indoor practice which will be held at Gosford Hill Sports Centre, Kidlington on the following dates, new members are welcome to attend on the day:-
Sunday, 24th February 2008 4pm – 5.30pm
Sunday, 2nd March 2008 4pm – 5.30pm
Sunday, 9nd March 2008 4pm – 5.30pm
Sunday, 16th March 2008 4pm – 5.30pm
Sunday, 30th March 2008 4pm – 5.30pm
Sunday, 6th April 2008 4pm – 5.30pm
Note: practise on 16thand 30th march may be outdoors subject to sports hall availability.

Thereafter outdoor practice will be held at our home ground, with league matches played home and away:-
U11
Training - Tuesdays 6.30pm
Matches played on Tue, Wed or Thur evenings.
U13
Training - Thursdays 6.30pm
Matches played Sunday morning.
U15
Training - Thursdays 6.30pm
Matches played Monday evening.
Other News
ECB player stats pages - This season all of our Junior competitive fixtures will be included in the club ECB-play cricket website which will enable you to see your runs and wickets recorded on the web and have your career statistics starting from your first match.
OBNCC kit shop – We provide full protective equipment for both training and playing but why not look the picture in our great club kit. Exactly the same design as the mens kit but in juniors sizes and at juniors prices this will be available at practice sessions from April onwards. Please note we do recommend you bring your own briefs and box although they are provided incase you forget.
